Art of War is an add-on to the famous strategy game Europa Universalis 4, focusing on 30 years of war and political instability between church and state. Improved gameplay mechanics make war the primary tool for paving the way to triumph and dominance.
Improved naval combat and full control over the army means that the outcome of the battle will now be completely up to you. Will you fight for triumph in splendid isolation or unite with allies? How many centuries your empire will last will depend on your decision.
• Thirty Years' War: unique mechanics and events for the religious conflict that hit Europe
• Napoleonic era: Fight for or against the revolution and create completely new custom countries on the map
• Battles on land and on water: now you can leave sieges, assign targets to your allies. The entire fleet can now be upgraded in one click, ships can be mothballed to save on upkeep, and the fleet can automatically transport an army
• Brands. Unite your vassals into fortified communities (brands), thereby increasing your defenses. True, with this approach, vassal payments are reduced.
• Improved diplomacy. There was an opportunity to sell extra ships, battles using Casus Belli vassals, the ability to declare war in support of rebels in other states. Reparations and waivers are also available.
