Terms of language, such as the resolution of overloaded functions or conversions in object-oriented programming are discussed in such detail that in an introductory course it may seem inappropriate. The material of the book is not necessary to try to learn 'once-through' ': it is assumed that the reader will periodically return to previously read the section. If some of them will seem too difficult or boring, put them at a time.
