Aporia: Beyond The Valley is set in a world called Ez'rat Qin, a once mighty civilization now in ruins. The protagonist wakes up after several hundred years of sleep in an abandoned land and does not remember anything about his past. Solving puzzles and exploring the "dark beauty" of local locations, the protagonist will have to find out what happened to civilization and himself.
The world of Aporia: Beyond The Valley "blooms with strange nature and is filled with ancient technology and is haunted by a spirit that wanders the misty forest." The developers promise that a unique puzzle system will appear in the game. The player will have to actively explore and piece together the pieces of a non-linear plot.
