Annie Besant. The laws of a higher life

The subject of this article is a very important question for people serious and thoughtful, seeking to serve humanity and help the evolution of our race. I called it "the Higher Laws of Life." Many people, when dealing with religion, which belongs to the field of higher life evinces put it outside the realm of legality. They transferred her to a special world in which the results can be achieved without difficulty, which is not preceded by the fall of weakness. The idea that the spiritual life is not subject to the law is quite natural: we find here a complete analogy with the physical world, a pattern which is not recognized until it is not yet known.
